AltSchool

AltSchool, nestled in River Valley, is an early intervention for children with developmental and learning differences like autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, global developmental delay, speech delay, selective mutism and more.

AltSchool uses the AEPS-3 evaluation system to track and support core skills across multiple developmental aspects. After a month-long observation period, each student receives an Individualised Education Plan (IEP) to highlight strengths, interests, and learning goals. The teachers then meet with parents every 3 months for IEP progress updates, and receive day to day updates on the various activities with the kids through a mobile app.

They use the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) as a framework to provide rich and stimulating learning experiences for the students. Through hands-on experiences tailored around a central theme, young learners are able to explore and engage in various integrated activities and lessons designed for their holistic development and diverse needs. The school's mission prioritises the child's well-being, offering personalised learning paths and tailored therapy sessions. AltSchool not only prepares children for future education but also arms them with the skills and confidence to navigate life's challenges.
