Genius Plus Academy specialises in maths tuition with classes for primary, secondary, and JC students. It was founded by Mrs Eileen Toh and Mr JY Wong, two former MOE teachers with extensive experience in teaching maths. The whole team of tutors behind Genius Plus is highly educated, accomplished, and trained. It was founded with the belief that adapting to students’ needs can impart concepts better.

They have five centres, including in Coronation Plaza, Punggol, Upper Thomson, Pasir Ris, and Kovan. While Mrs Eileen and Mr JY are principal tutors, there are several other seasoned tutors. There are many different regular and crash courses to choose from, so you can find a program that best suits your child’s needs. You can also take advantage of their complementary consultation.

Highlights:

Intensive crash courses to help kids catch up: They offer intensive crash courses for PSLE candidates and secondary students that essentially help students cover their bases and prepare for exams quickly. A highlight is the Ten-Year Series Programme, where students cover 10 years of PSLE math exams in 10 lessons.
Mock exams with same-day feedback: Genius Plus Academy also conducts mock exams for both levels and provides feedback on the same day, while the questions and their answers are fresh in the students’ memories. This fast feedback loop can prove helpful in improving understanding and quickly learning from mistakes.
60+ exclusive textbooks and workbooks: The Genius Plus team has developed over 60 books and guides based on the official curriculum that are exclusively available to their students. These books cover maths for all classes, from Primary 1 to Secondary 4. The exercises are based on the real exam format.
Individualised attention and progress monitoring: Genius Plus Academy limits class size to just six students. They’ve done this to ensure each student gets the attention they need to thrive in maths. Some children may need more guidance, which the tutors are able to provide in a small class size.
One-on-one sessions are also available: If you want your child to be tutored in maths one-on-one, you can hire their principal tutors or one of the senior tutors at an hourly rate.
