The Learning Lab (TLL) is a tuition centre in Singapore with over 24 years of experience with kids at all levels of schooling. Besides the regular classes covering school subjects, they also offer special programmes like the English Accelerator Program and the Coding Lab Programmes.

The curriculum is fully aligned with MOE, but more importantly, it’s regularly updated by over 40 researchers. They also design the curriculum to pique students’ curiosity while also better preparing them for exams based on the latest question trends.

Highlights:

Wide range of programmes: No matter what stage of education your child is at, there’s a program for them at TLL. They offer preschool, primary, secondary, and JC programmes. In addition, there are subject-specific programmes and online classes (for Primary 4 to Secondary 4).
Highly trained and experienced educators: TLL’s teachers go through 300 hours of training to master their subjects and learn MOE exam guidelines and lesson planning techniques. And they’re constantly evaluated for their skills and knowledge. There are over 300 teachers on their roster.
The unique TLL method: TLL has a specialised process, which has three elements (Encode, Retrieve, and Apply). The idea is to encode concepts better, teach kids ways to retrieve information better, and apply concepts to new situations or contexts. They claim this method is good for equipping children with knowledge, skills, and dispositions.
Proven track record in PSLE: 60% of their students scored AL1 or AL2, and one in three students got 90 or more marks in subjects like English, Maths, and Science.
