Celebrate Kakee’s first birthday at Kampong Kakee: a three-day pop-up event happening at Bugis Junction from 19–21 June 2026. Inspired by Kakee’s four app features – Listen, Watch, Play and Lobangs – the event brings the digital entertainment experience to life through live music, interactive games, and engaging on-ground activations for all ages.
Kakee is a homegrown entertainment app that rewards users for enjoying a wide range of content, from curated POWER 98 and 88.3JIA music streams to exclusive, proudly made‑in‑Singapore videos, mobile games and exclusive contests.
Marking Kakee’s first birthday, Kampong Kakee is a vibrant, street-style celebration inspired by Singapore’s OG kampong spirit. Blending old‑school warmth with new‑school energy, the event brings together music, culture, and community in one shared space. More than just an anniversary celebration, Kampong Kakee invites everyone to connect, celebrate, and experience a lively communal atmosphere.
Event Highlights
Across three days, Kampong Kakee brings the energy with live DJ-led parties, interactive sing-alongs, and exclusive show moments – powered by DJs from POWER 98 and 88.3JIA.
From stage games such as Kakee Katch to fringe activities, sweet treats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Visitors can also look forward to exciting contests with prizes up for grabs, including a staycation at Novotel on Stevens, dinner for 2 at StraitsKitchen and Golden Village’s Gold Class® movie vouchers, as well as exclusive Kakee Koin plushies to be won. Each day offers something new, with its own distinct vibes, alongside special appearances from our Kakee mascot.
Visitors can also discover both new and existing content throughout the event. Highlights span the launch of new music streams POWER 98 EDM Club Hits and POWER 98 Mixtape – to complement current stream favourites 88.3JIA K-Pop, 88.3JIA Cantopop and 88.3JIA Trending Hits. Watch out too for returning video series Fall In, Mindful Minutes, and The Situation Report, as well as new video series Love Formula, The Rojak Room, and What SG Wears.
Visitors can also look forward to an exciting line-up of mobile games, including Kakee Katch, Kakee Klaw, and Jio Kakee; the latter being one of the brand-new games available on the Kakee app, brought to life on a phygital screen for everyone to try. Play to earn Kakee Koins, which can be redeemed for an exciting array of gifts in the Kakee Koin Store on app.
At the heart of it all is the Kakee Konvoy: Kakee’s multimedia truck with a mobile stage that anchors the celebration. Serving as the main event hub throughout the weekend, it brings together performances, DJ sets, live recordings, and interactive audience moments in one vibrant, ever‑moving space.
