From 8 to 10 August 2026, Science Centre Singapore will open its doors free to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents for SG Science Fest 2026, a three-day celebration of curiosity, exploration and hands-on science marking the National Day long weekend.
The festival will turn the Centre into an ocean themed expedition with mystery quests, water games, live shows, junior discovery zones and special programmes at the Omni-Theatre and KidsSTOPTM.
Festival highlights include:
- Shipwrecked: Uncover the Mystery, a self-guided quest challenging visitors to investigate clues and solve the mystery behind a shipwreck.
- Robot’s Bytes to Bites, a live science show featuring a face-off between a robot chef and a local hawker through fire demonstrations and liquid nitrogen experiments.
- Splash Battle, featuring 10-versus-10 water battles and outdoor games guaranteed to get participants soaked.
- Hands-on marine science activities where guests can explore concepts such as corrosion, buoyancy and coral restoration.
- Special Omni-Theatre experience featuring performances by one of Singapore’s youngest licensed buskers, 10-year-old Shayne, during selected screenings of Earth: Our Only Home.
