Homegrown health and fitness brand UFIT is launching its first-ever UFIT Games, a new team fitness competition that brings together first-time competitors and experienced athletes for the ultimate test of speed, strength, power, endurance and teamwork. The launch comes amid growing participation in community-based fitness events, with more Singaporeans joining run clubs, fitness races and functional fitness competitions like HYROX and Turf Games.
Taking place on Sunday, 4 October 2026 at Dover Court International School, the inaugural UFIT Games welcomes teams of two to compete across six performance-based events designed to test multiple areas of athletic performance – from explosive power and maximal strength to aerobic endurance, speed and teamwork. The six events include a sprint test, a countermovement jump assessed using VALD force plate technology, a three-repetition maximum deadlift, a high-intensity AMRAP-style workout, a functional sprint course, and an outdoor run.
Designed for participants with a foundational level of fitness, UFIT Games features two categories – Everyday and Advanced – allowing both newcomers and experienced athletes to compete at an appropriate level. Participants can compete in male, female or mixed pairs, making the event ideal for friends, couples, training partners and teammates looking to challenge themselves together. First place winning teams across all categories will stand to win attractive prizes over SGD600 each.
Beyond the competition, participants can look forward to a race-day experience designed to refuel and support recovery after the challenges, from delicious breakfast burritos from Guzman Y Gomez, protein bakes from Macro Munchies and coffee from Ugly Coffee. They can also head to the dedicated recovery zone, where UFIT’s physiotherapy team will offer mini sports massages and taping services, as well as try Recover Asia’s compression boots, which use intermittent pneumatic compression to promote blood flow and help ease muscle soreness and fatigue after intense exercise.
In the lead up to race days, UFIT will be running free community Friday Night Lights sessions across all UFIT locations from August to September to support participants in their race preparation. The high-energy Hybrid Strength session is built around the demands of UFIT Games. Participants can expect a mix of strength, endurance and conditioning-based metcons designed to challenge their engines, test their teamwork and give them a taste of what is coming on competition day. This will allow new race participants to better anticipate race day conditions, and for experienced athletes to push themselves to the next level.
“In recent years, we have seen more people training with a purpose, whether they are preparing for HYROX, joining run clubs, or taking on new fitness challenges with friends. Competitions are a great way for people to stay motivated, but they can still feel intimidating for many,” said Dean Ahmad, CEO and Co-founder of UFIT.
“We have created UFIT Games to bridge that gap and make that experience more accessible. Whether you are taking part in your very first competition or using it to prepare for your next race, this event celebrates progress, teamwork and discovering what you are capable of. We look forward to welcoming Singapore’s fitness community to compete and challenge themselves in the UFIT Games,” he added.
Tickets are priced at $88 per participant and include an exclusive athlete T-shirt, a finisher patch, access to complimentary event photos and free community trainings. Friends and family are invited to show their support for the challengers at no additional cost.
In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, UFIT will donate $20 from every pair of tickets sold to the Breast Cancer Foundation, continuing its long-standing support of the charity.
UFIT Games is proudly organised by UFIT, and supported by ThunderWear, Macro Munchies, Ugly Coffee and Guzman Y Gomez.
