db Bistro and Oyster Bar opened in Singapore in 2010 as an offshoot of New York City’s Bistro Moderne, which was founded by celebrity chef Daniel Boulud. The bistro serves a mix of traditional French bistro fare and contemporary American flavors, with a menu that highlights a selection of the world's largest and freshest oysters, as well as world-renowned signature burgers.
Highlights:
- French bistro fare by multi-awarded Chef: Chef Daniel Boulud is a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. He was also awarded “Outstanding Restaurateur”, “Best Chef of New York City”, and “Outstanding Chef of the Year” by the James Beard Foundation.
- Casual weekend brunch: For only S$75, you can enjoy traditional brunch favorites prepared by Chef Jonathan Kinsella. Don’t miss the Steak Haché, Scrambled Farm Eggs, and the Signature Bloody Mary!
- Tuesday Night Social Hour: Every Tuesday Night, Marina Bay Sands holds its social hour from 6 to 9 PM. db Bistro & Oyster Bar lets you join the fun by offering 50% off on all signature tiki cocktails such as the Zombie, Mai Tai, and the Royal Hawaiian.
LOOK & FEEL: db Bistro & Oyster Bar is located in the luxury retail and dining atrium of Marina Bay Sands, just across from the Sands Theatre. The main dining hall has a Parisian bistro ambiance, with red leather booths, dark wood, and marble tabletops. The oyster bar boasts a beautiful display of fresh oysters and an island bar stocked with various liquors. The private dining room overlooks the wine cellar and can accommodate up to 20 guests, while for a more intimate setting, the cellar table is available for up to six people.
MENU: True to its name, the oyster bar is a main feature of db Bistro & Oyster Bar. Regular patrons come for the fresh oysters that are flown in daily from global sources. If oysters are not your thing, you can opt for other seafood choices such as lobster, crab, and shrimp cocktails. For meat lovers, burgers and steaks are a must-try.
