The Centre Stage School of the Arts was founded in 1999 for children to attend theatre and drama classes. It was started by two actors from London, Peter Hodgson and Alison Tompkins. From a small one-room location in the early days, the school has grown to a multi-location performing arts centre. The school is affiliated with several organisations, including Drama UK, Tring Park School of the Performing Arts, Royal Academy of Dance, and Australia Teachers of Dancing.
