  • Lorna Whiston, a former Principal of a Singapore’s international school, opened her first enrichment centre in 1980.

    Started with the aim to uplift English Language standards among the children in Singapore, Lorna Whiston has succeeded in her goal as the centre has acquired a reputation for offering superior quality education.

    ENGLISH CLASSES

    The English Enrichment Teachers ensure that lessons are interactive and engaging. The school offers the following programmes:

    Little Explorers: Tailored for infants aged between 18 months and 3 years, the programme focuses on developing social skills.

    Nursery: Designed for 3-year-old children, the programme introduced language learning through songs and rhymes.

    Kindergarten: This class is for 5-year-olds, and it introduces them to books with the goal of fostering a love for reading and story retelling.

    Primary 1: Oral language skills are imparted to 7-year-olds, and lessons include composition writing, vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension.

    Primary 2: For children 8 years old, focusing on building the children’s vocabulary and developing proficient reading and writing skills.

    Primary 3: For children 9 years old, focusing on building the children’s vocabulary and developing proficient reading and writing skills.

    Primary 4: For children 10 years old, focusing on building the children’s vocabulary and developing proficient reading and writing skills.
