Singapore probably has the most competitive education culture in the world.

It is understandable for parents to provide the best opportunities for their children to do well at school. This is where tuition centres come in.

These learning facilities aid in enhancing your child’s skills in the most challenging subjects such as Math. Unfortunately, for students in Singapore, Mathematics is a compulsory subject that needs to be passed to qualify for Junior College and Polytechnic courses.

If you are looking for the best math tuition centre in Singapore, this guide could be of great help to you.

THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING A TUITION CENTRE

The most important thing to consider when choosing a tuition centre in Singapore is its registration with the Ministry of Education. This ensures that the tuition centre follows an approved curriculum, the tutors are qualified, and the learning environment is safe for the students.

Another thing to check is the centre’s experience. More years spent in teaching means better quality of education. For any business, low-quality service does not earn a solid following that lasts for years.

Tuition fee rates are also of paramount importance. Be aware, however, that cheaper does not always mean better. Some people don’t mind paying more as long as they are assured that they get better quality of service.

TYPES OF MATH TUITION IN SINGAPORE

Maths tuition comes in different types. These are:

  • Group tuition: Group-based classroom setting with approximately 4-40 students per class.
  • Private tuition: 1-1 teaching that is usually done in the student’s home or wherever it is convenient.
  • Enrichment Centres: Similar to group tuition but more focused on the learning process and experience over conventional teaching structures.

There are more than 100 math tuition centres in Singapore offering various tuition types. We have narrowed down the list [updated 2022] for you according to the quality of teaching, experience, and student feedback.
