The Coral Nursery has collapsed, and tiny Pavona coral babies are missing! A search party of marine scientists and adult corals are in a race against time to rebuild the nursery and find the lost coral babies before it’s too late.

Looking for Pavona is a highly interactive dance-theatre production that immerses children in the rescue and restoration of our precious coral ecosystem. Through movement, music, and imaginative sets, they will discover Singapore’s diverse marine life and learn about the dramatic impact of human action and climate change on the ocean.

Get your kids excited about our coral species and inspire them to be the custodians of our marine heritage!

Looking for Pavona is a production under the Young People Environmental Dance-Theatre, presented by ARTS FISSION, a non-profit contemporary dance company, together with the children from The Arts Granary.

The script is written by cultural medallion recipient Angela Liong in collaboration with Sam Shu Qin, a marine conservationist dedicated to restoring coral reefs in Southeast Asia. Sam is also the co-founder of Our Blue Spaces—a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness of Singapore’s marine biodiversity while fostering community collaboration and engagement in marine science and conservation.
