Walk With Me
Walk With Me is a charity walk and fundraiser organised by HCA Hospice to normalise and raise awareness of palliative care, through the celebration of life and lives well-lived. The event also seeks to raise much-needed funds to sustain HCA’s programmes, which extend care and support to the terminally ill who choose to spend their last days at home, as well as their families, who are heavily involved in their care.
We often refer to the care and support of the terminally ill as a journey that the care team takes alongside the patient and their family, pacing with them and supporting them as they move towards the finishing line. With Walk With Me, we hope to invite all of you on a journey to support our beneficiaries, and uncover the many stories of lives well-lived, that our patients have taught us along the way.
Walk with us to show your support for terminally ill patients and their caregivers. The walk is a simple one suited for people of different physical abilities, including children, seniors and those on wheelchairs.
For this walk, HCA aims to raise at least $400,000 to provide professional and compassionate palliative care to an additional 200 families, on top of the 3,800 families we are currently supporting annually.
The event runs virtually from 18 September 2023 to 31 December 2023, and participants may choose their preferred distance and amount that they wish to fundraise. On 19 November 2023 (Sunday), particpantswho sign up as physical walkers will get to walk alongside our beneficiaries through the scenic route from Marina Barrage to East Coast park.

SDSC: Aim for Hope Fundraiser
Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) will be organizing the Aim for Hope Fundraiser this Sunday, 18 November 2018, 9am – 6pm at Yishun SAFRA.
Shooting is a sport that tests accuracy and control, in place of physical prowess. That is why it can be enjoyed by many people, including persons with lower physical functionality from congenital and acquired conditions, such as cerebral palsy, amputations and spinal cord injuries.
SDSC runs beginner, developmental and high performance programmes to help persons with disabilities (PWDs) to find new abilities and talents through shooting and other sports.
We hope to get individuals to bring their family and friends down to the range to have a chance to aim and shoot, guided by Singapore’s national shooters. It will be an exciting experience and meaningful time spent!
