Concerto3 – Three Concertos with re:Sound
Qin Li-Wei returns as soloist in an all-concerto programme with re:Sound led by Yang Shuxiang. Haydn’s spirited Cello Concerto No. 1 and the vivacious Vivaldi Concerto for Two Cellos bookend Grażyna Bacewicz’s Concerto for Strings the energetic and inventive magnum opus of Poland’s most celebrated female composer of the past century.

Singapore Lyric Opera Gala 2023: Opera Spectacular!
Join the Singapore Lyric Opera (SLO) in an evening of high notes and emotions as four world-class Asian vocal powerhouses share the same stage for the very first time!
Featuring the preeminent Hong Kong Chinese tenor and one of China’s Three Tenors, Warren Mok, and Hong Kong’s young lyric tenor Samuel Huang; they will be joined by international star Wang Bing Bing, the very first Chinese soprano to release a classical album with Sony Classical Records, as well as celebrated soprano and SLO Artistic Director Nancy Yuen.
Indulge in a selection of famous arias from Puccini’s Turandot, Madama Butterfly, and Tosca, as well as Verdi’s Rigoletto, La Traviata, and Aida. This gala also includes favourites by other Italian, French and American composers like Bellini, Massenet and Carlisle Floyd.
One of Singapore’s most versatile conductors, Joshua Tan, will direct the SLO Orchestra as the accompanying ensemble. Don’t miss a memorable evening of operatic classics!

A Gift for Singapore
Celebrate the National Day in a musical way by soaking up the beloved medleys of local tunes by popular Singaporean composers at Esplanade Concert Hall on August 12, 2018. Join the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra, led by conductors Adrian Chiang and Dedric Wong, and take a trip down memory lane with nostalgic songs of the various ethnic cultures in Singapore such as Xi Shui Chang Liu and Di Tanjong Katong. There will also be special appearances by vocalist Sugie Phua, world fusion music group Flame of the Forest, and other ethnic instrumental soloists.
Admission to the concert is free and on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses
Thirty years of video game history will unfold in the Legend of Zelda – Symphony of the Goddesses. Simply put, the show features a full orchestra and choir, performing classic themes from the hit video game, while Zelda game footages play in the background. This updated orchestral performance will introduce a new movement from Skyward Sword and a much-anticipated Breath of the Wild arrangement.
