Centre Stage School of the Arts

The Centre Stage School of the Arts was founded in 1999 for children to attend theatre and drama classes. It was started by two actors from London, Peter Hodgson and Alison Tompkins. From a small one-room location in the early days, the school has grown to a multi-location performing arts centre. The school is affiliated with several organisations, including Drama UK, Tring Park School of the Performing Arts, Royal Academy of Dance, and Australia Teachers of Dancing.

Wide range of performing arts courses: The Centre Stage School of the Arts has expanded its offering of performance arts classes over the years, with 20 courses for kids of all ages. These also include drama and musical theatre courses.
Internationally educated and trained instructors: Besides the two co-founders and directors, the teaching staff at this school have credentials from universities in the UK and Australia. The alma matter of some of the instructors includes LaSalle College of the Arts, Goldsmiths, and Royal Holloway University.
Trinity or LAMDA Exam syllabus: The school also offers classes with Trinity or LAMDA syllabus for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Conducted by examiners from the prestigious Trinity and LAMDA in the UK, these courses can help students get extra arts credits and even be counted as points when applying for universities in the UK after A Levels.
